In the mountains as elsewhere, waste has a variety of impacts on natural environments, from water and soil pollution to more direct harm to wildlife. Cigarette butts, bottles, plastic packaging, cans and even cell phones - melting snow often reveals many surprises. Some of these finds are more like treasures.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is this Swiss-made can of orange juice, marketed between 1976 and 1978. It's because of the acidity of the juice that this period is so short. Another vintage item is this ticket for a one-way trip to San Bernardino from 04.03.1989. The telescopic backscratcher impresses with its originality even before being added to the treasures found in the mountains.
