After 20 years of existence, including 10 years of collaboration with Summit Foundation, the Swiss Snowshoe Federation has entrusted our foundation with the task of revamping the "Guide des Sentiers Raquettes de Suisse romande". The aim is to give even greater encouragement to this gentle winter pastime. Divided into four sections, the book covers more than 160 marked and safe trails in the cantons of Fribourg, Jura, Valais and Vaud.
The environmental dimension is even more present in the project, since in addition to the eco-advice included in the book, Summit Foundation has printed the guide on "Blue Angel" labelled paper, 100% recycled. The project also has a local aspect, since it was produced in collaboration with a design studio in Vevey and a printer in Fribourg.
The guide is the ideal companion for winter snowshoe outings, whether with family, friends or as a solo adventurer. As well as 160 trails, it includes route maps, effort profiles, useful information for preparing an outing and details of restaurants and accommodation.
The Snowshoeing Trails guide is available for CHF 50 to support the development of snowshoeing in French-speaking Switzerland. WWW.SENTIERS-RAQUETTES.CH.
