The prominent members of the Summit Foundation Collective bring together inspiring women and men: athletes, adventurers, entrepreneurs, artists and photographers who share a deep connection with the mountains and nature, and who choose to use their image and voice to support their protection.
United by shared values and a commitment to taking concrete action, they work alongside Summit Foundation to raise awareness, inspire, and mobilize as many people as possible in response to the environmental challenges affecting the places where we live and pursue our passions.

“Having spent so much time picking up litter along our rivers and hiking trails in summer, and on ski slopes in winter after the snow melts, Summit Foundation’s commitment has always felt like an obvious cause to me. Joining their Collective and helping carry its message for the preservation of our mountains and natural environment is a modest but essential contribution.”

“I discovered Lake Geneva and the mountains later in life. Since then, they have become much more than a playground, a natural heritage to protect and cherish. So that we and future generations can continue to experience their beauty, I have chosen to commit myself alongside Summit Foundation.”

“Passionate about the mountains from an early age, I turned that passion into my profession. That is why I am deeply committed to working with Summit Foundation to protect this precious environment, by caring for it, respecting it, and raising awareness about the way we behave towards it.”
Nature is not a destination, it is our home.”

Zelfino is a Swiss painter who explores mountains by infusing them with emotion, colour, texture, and material, turning each artwork into a sensitive and immersive interpretation of these landscapes. Through his work, he expresses a sincere, almost meditative connection to the Alpine environment. He places essential importance on preserving and keeping the mountains clean, a direct reflection of the unconditional love he holds for them.

“The call of the mountains led me to move to the Alps more than thirty years ago. I have devoted much of my life to the mountains, all the while wondering what drew me to them so strongly. And then I understood. It was not simply the powder fields to glide across, nor the dense forests to lose myself in. What called to me so powerfully was the possibility of moving through a raw environment, almost untouched by human presence. To witness moments outside of time, as if at the beginning of the world. So when I come across litter, my blood first boils, then I calm down by picking it up. In my own small way, little by little, I clean what can be cleaned. And I feel better for it.”

"Between horns and vines, the mountain shapes us: a free wine, a free life, raw and true."

“Supporting Summit Foundation is a natural choice for me: the mountains nourish us, and it is now our turn to take care of them.
My daily life is in the mountains. I live in Charmey. Every morning, my first gesture is to look outside: the wind, the cold, the snow, the altitude. Everything starts from there.
Cooking here is special. The climate is demanding, not very favorable to agriculture. And yet, nature offers an incredible aromatic richness. We harvest at altitudes ranging from 500 to 2,000 metres: the same plant changes with the seasons and the altitude. This diversity feeds our cuisine, which is shaped by the land and, in turn, tells its story.
The mountains have always been a place of exchange. We bring in products from elsewhere, which meet those from here and allow different worlds to coexist without betraying their origins.
There is also the personal experience: ski touring, cycling, hiking. The effort, the solitude, the face-to-face encounter. The mountains teach you to move forward, to adapt, to slow down without giving up.
A precious place that must be preserved and respected."

"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."
As a living place of hospitality, located at high altitude, we evolve every day in direct contact with nature and the elements. This demanding environment has taught us to observe, to adapt, and above all to live in harmony with what surrounds us, with the greatest respect.
It is in this spirit that we fully recognize the value and necessity of the actions led by Summit Foundation. Their concrete commitment to preserving the mountains deeply resonates with our own vision.
Supporting their initiatives is a natural choice for us: a way to express our respect for nature, but also to actively contribute to its protection.
We sincerely believe that any initiative aimed at preserving these spaces deserves to be encouraged and carried collectively. Joining Summit Foundation means affirming our commitment to being part of this movement and acting, at our own scale, for future generations.
